Summer Scrapbook: May

May was really exciting for me. The first week or so was extremely stressful because of finals, but after that I had a lot of time to do things that I really missed doing that working and being a full time grad student doesn't really allow you to do too often. Even though it's not really hot enough to feel like summer yet here in Chicago, I crammed a lot of stuff into the past few weeks because I knew I would be starting a full time internship today. I worked mostly on the weekends so I had free time to go out in the city, clean, catch up on tv shows, and I even took a trip out to Florida to visit my sister. Overall, I had a blast. Even though I will be working two jobs, I am excited to see what the rest of the summer brings.

Summer Scrapbook 2012.3

Well, it's official. The school supplies are out at Walmart again which means that it's about to be the last leg of summer break. It's so depressing. However, I fully intend on making the most the rest of summer. I still have money to make, things to organize, and pounds to shed. I'll have to squeeze those in somewhere with my chilling, sleeping, cooking, crafting, sun enojying self. Here's a slight recap of the past couple of weeks.

Scrapbook: Random Pieces of Summer, The Beginning

So far, summer has been exactly what I needed.  Being at home can be slow paced which is a nice break from what the city has to offer.  I am making time for myself, friends, and family and spending a lot of time outside enjoying the gorgeous weather.  Overall, I have nothing to complain about and I am perfectly happy just living.

Just a few pictures before the Christmas ones flood in.  The past few weeks have pretty much been dominated by finals.  But I was still able to sneak in some other things before and after.  Winter break has been relaxing so far and I love it.
