Business Casual

I recently got a new job working in the pharmacy at a community hospital. It's my first job ever in the career field that I hope to pursue upon graduation. So far I have had a lot of training in multiple areas and I will continue to train for about a week or so more. My responsibilities are somewhere in between that of a technician and a pharmacy intern. That being said, I don't want to dress in scrubs everyday like the technicians do (only on days when I'm lazy). I want to roll with the big kids and dress like the pharmacists dress. Here are a few of my favorite business casual pieces of clothing that are definitely wearable in the the summer.

Nothing says girly and summery like a dress. I love that this outfit is comfy and the hem line hits at just the right length.
red dress: marshalls / black leather belt: my mother's / black and grey bag: dooney and bourke /  plain black flats: pacsun

This bag is gigantic and can fit everything thing from notes to lunch.
sheer white button-up: jcpenny / navy ankle length trousers: marshalls / brown leather bag: dooney and bourke / brown and white flats: circa from carsons

Accents of color are great to add a little something to a dull outfit.
patterened tank: marshalls / grey trousers: carsons / black an grey bag: dooney and bourke / black shrug: charlette russe / red kitten heels: anne klein from carsons

Bright colors look amazing against tan skin. Just remember to keep everything else neutral.
white button-up: jc penny /  brown bag: dooney and bourke / brown tassel heels: anne klein from carsons / pink pencil skirt: thrifted

Bows make any outfit a bit more girly.
dull orange bow top: forever 21 /  cream and brown bag: gucci / brown trousers: carsons / brown patterned flats: american eagle
